The official site lists 304 rooms and suites in the Garden Wing and the Rasa Wing, including family and connecting rooms ^[1]. For a family of five, connecting rooms are worth asking about.

It also lists two kids programmes, called Adventure Zone and Cool Zone Kids Club ^[2]. Ask for the age ranges and hours, because a listing does not tell you either.

Who might it suit?

It may suit you if you want a large beachside property with family rooms and kids programmes, and you are happy to reach it by road. Because Penang is reached by road, there is no boat leg to plan.

• What are the age ranges and opening hours for the kids programmes?
• What does a full-board or half-board upgrade cost if breakfast is the only meal in the package?
• Which meals are included each night, including arrival and departure days, and are tea breaks, snacks and drinks extra?
• Is airport or jetty pickup offered, what does it cost, and how long is the drive to the resort?
• Which taxes and service charges are added to the room rate, and is anything payable at the hotel?
• How are children, infants and seniors priced, and what happens to your payment if you must change dates?
