This calculator adds up the prices you type in and shows one total and one per-person figure in RM. Anything you leave empty is listed as unpriced, so a missing price never looks like a free item. It is a planning estimate, not a quote.

How do I use the calculator?

Fill in the lines you already have prices for, then press the button. The result appears under the form.

1. Enter adults, children, nights and rooms.
2. Type the room rate per room per night from your quote.
3. Add transfers, boat tickets, meals, the marine park fee and activities.
4. Set a contingency percentage, or 0 for none.
5. Press “Work out my total” and read the breakdown.

Practical implication: the more lines you fill, the shorter the unpriced list, and the closer the figure sits to what a written quotation will show.

What does it assume?

Each line follows a simple rule so you can check it by hand.

• Room: rooms x nights x rate per room per night.
• Boat, marine park fee: people x the amount you typed.
• Meals: people x nights x the amount per person per night.
• Transfers and activities: the whole-group amount you typed.

Children count as people for boat, meals and fee lines. If your quote gives a child a different rate, type an average, or run the tool twice. Currency is RM only, and we convert nothing.

What can it not tell you?

It cannot tell you whether a price is current, whether a room is free, or whether a fee is already inside your package. Fees change, and the figures reported for marine parks come from secondary sources.^[1] One district charge was reported on top of the park fee in 2022, and its current status is unknown.^[2]

So ask the operator which fees are inside the price and which are paid at the jetty. The guide on whether the marine park fee is included or paid on arrival lists the questions to ask.

How the total is worked out

Here is the arithmetic the calculator follows, using the prices on your own quote.

Two adults and two children share two rooms. Room cost is rooms x nights x the nightly room rate on your quote.

Add transfers, then boat tickets x people, meals x people x nights, park fees x people and any activities. That gives the subtotal. Add your contingency percentage of the subtotal for the total, then divide by the number of people for the per-person figure.

What should I do with the result?
