You want to know what happens to the details you send us.
We collect only what you choose to send us on WhatsApp, and we use it to help plan your trip. We share it with a quoting agency only with your knowledge. This page explains what that means in practice.
Which law applies?
Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) took effect on 15 November 2013 and sets out seven principles for handling personal data, overseen by the Personal Data Protection Department (JPDP). An amendment gazetted on 17 October 2024 is being phased in from 2025 and adds breach notification. [1] Rules can change, so check the regulator’s site for the latest.
What do we collect?
Only what you send us on WhatsApp: your name if you share it, your phone number, travel dates, group size, children’s ages, budget and preferences. We do not ask for passport photos, identity card numbers, card or bank details, or medical history. Please do not send them.
Why do we collect it?
To answer your questions, suggest islands and packages, and prepare a written quotation request. We do not use it for anything unrelated to your trip.
Who do we share it with?
If you ask for a written quotation, the travel agency that prepares it needs your trip details. We tell you which agency it is and ask for your agreement before we pass anything on. We do not sell your details.
How long do we keep it?
We keep your conversation for as long as it helps us assist you with your trip and answer follow-up questions. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
What are your rights?
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to remove them. Message us on WhatsApp with your request and we will respond. The contact page shows how to reach us.
What about cookies and our tools?
At present we do not use analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page first. Our planning tools compute in your browser and send nothing to us. See also the disclaimer.
