Sari Pacifica Resort & Spa is listed as a resort on Redang, in Terengganu. Research gives us little more than its name, a likely area and a mention of package styles. Our sources also disagree on whether it sits on Redang or Lang Tengah, so the first question is the island.

Which island is it on?

Most listings place the resort on the east side of Redang, near the Long Beach strip. One other source files it under Lang Tengah, and we have not resolved that.

This matters because the two islands are different trips. Redang is the bigger island with a few bays, while Lang Tengah is smaller and quieter. Ask the agent to name the island, the beach and the jetty in the quotation itself.

What do we know about the packages?

One blog reports that the resort offers all-inclusive, breakfast with dinner, and breakfast-only packages. We have not seen an official page, so please confirm each plan.

Meal plans change the total more than the room does. A breakfast-only rate looks lower until you add lunches and dinners on an island with limited places to eat. Ask for the plan name and what each meal means in practice.

Getting there

Redang guests cross by speedboat from the Merang jetty, which takes about 45 minutes ^[1]. Ask which boat your booking uses and whether the transfer sits inside the price.

• Which package plan is quoted, and what does each meal include?
• Are tea breaks, snacks and drinks included?
• What room types and bed layouts are available for my group?
• Is the marine park fee in the price? It is reported as RM30 adult and RM15 child without a MyKad, and RM5 and RM2 with one ^[3].
• What are the child and senior rules and rates?
• What is the cancellation rule if the boat cannot sail?

Fee amounts come from secondary sources, so confirm them with the operator.

When does it close?

Most east-coast resorts close during the northeast monsoon, roughly November to February or March ^[2]. Exact dates vary by resort and year.
