The official site lists Tropical Garden, Tropical Hill, Beach, Sea and Spa Villas, the Suria and Purnama Suites, the Pavarotti Suite, and private Estates One to Nine ^[1]. That is a wide spread, so the room you are quoted matters a lot.

It offers an all-inclusive Residents’ Package for Malaysians and Singaporeans, though the page does not say which meals other rates include ^[2]. Ask exactly what the package covers and whether you qualify.

The page we read does not describe kids facilities ^[3]. We have not reviewed the resort in person.

Who might it suit?

It may suit you if you want a private island setting with many room styles, and you are happy to arrange the boat leg through the resort. Couples and small groups who want a quiet stay may find that appealing.

How do you get there?

Guests board a speedboat at Marina Island Pangkor Jetty in Lumut, and the resort reports about 15 minutes to its island ^[4]. The transfer is booked separately. Ask how the speedboat is booked, what it costs, and the last departure on your arrival day.

• Which villa or suite is quoted, and how many people does it take?
• Does the Residents’ Package apply to your group, and what exactly does all-inclusive cover?
• Is the speedboat transfer booked and priced separately, as the site suggests?
• What meals does the rate cover on each night, and on the days you arrive and leave? Are tea breaks, snacks and drinks charged on top?
• Does the quoted price cover the boat both ways, what time does it sail, and where do you board?
• Are ferry tickets, jetty parking and any island charges in the package, or paid separately?
• What are the age bands for child and senior rates, and is a cancelled boat refunded, credited or rescheduled?
